TISSNET Eligibility

To be eligible for TISSNET (TISS National Entrance Test) for admission to various postgraduate programs offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration or its equivalent from a recognised university. As you are currently in the final year of engineering and have a back in the 5th semester, you may still be eligible to apply for TISSNET provided you complete your degree before the admission process begins. However, it is recommended that you check the eligibility criteria of the specific programme you are interested in and ensure that you fulfill all the requirements before applying for the exam. Additionally, some TISS programs may have specific eligibility criteria, such as work experience or a certain minimum percentage in the qualifying degree. Heres the eligibility criteria for TISSNET 2018:
a) Candidates with Bachelor's degree (minimum of three years duration) or equivalent from a recognised university are eligible to apply.
b) At the time of applying, candidates studying in three-year degree programmes should have passed all subjects from first to fourth semesters; while candidates studying in four-year degree programmes should have passed in all subjects for first to sixth semester.
c) Only those candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by the first week of June 2017 are eligible to apply to all the programme.
d) There's no age limit for TISSNET exam.
Till the time the candidate submit results of the final year degree examination, admission to any of the Master's Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional, informed the official website. Those who fail to do so the provisional admission stands cancelled.
