The online registration of TNEA 2019 will start tentatively in the 1st week of May 2019 for admission to undergraduate engineering and technology courses at some 563 participating institutes. The TNEA 2019 admission process will be conducted by Anna University. The registration-cum-application form of TNEA 2019 will be available in online mode only and have to be filled before the last date by eligible candidates. Admission to different engineering and technology courses will be based on normalized marks of 10+2 (qualifying exam) only, and no separate entrance test will be held. You have not mentioned about your nativity. However, other state students can also apply for TNEA. The other state quota admission, Anna University will commence the registration process tentatively from the third week of June 2019.

The cut off trend for various branches in BC category from year 2015, 2016 and 2017 were as under.
1. BE Civil engineering. 181.75-192.25
2. BE CSE 192-194.25
3. BE EEE 189.5-194.25
4. BE ECE 192.25-195
5. BE EIE 187.5-191.5
6. B.Tech-IT 189.5-192
7. BE Mech 191.5-195
So, your chances are good for Civil engineering. Branch.

Yes, you are eligible. Candidates who are Tamil Nadu natives but have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII class or their equivalent examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. However, such candidates will have to enclose a copy of their nativity certificate only in online mode (electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate). So, you can apply after obtaining the nativity certificate (Online) from appropriate authority.

Yes, you apply for BE/B.Tech lateral programme. Candidates can apply for Admission by filling the application form that can be collected from the university office or can be downloaded from the official website that is www.annauniv.edu.

The Nativity is an important aspect in TNEA exam so please check this whether you are eligible or not. Further NIOS certificate have full validity at par with other boards certificate. Hence these are acceptable at all the places.

Yes, nowadays, TNEA allows students from outside the state also to register themselves for the centralised admission process. Do remember that the admissions in Tamil Nadu are based on the marks obtained in 12 and there is no common entrance examination. However you will have to register yourself on the TNEA webpage of the Anna University for registering your name by uploading the required documents and paying fees and then wait for your turn in the counselling process.
