To get admission to a technical college in Tamil Nadu, you need to register and appear for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) online counselling. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. 

It is possible to secure a seat in the B.E. / B.Tech programs in PET Engineering College without attending the TNEA counselling session but under the management quota. While TNEA is the most recognised channel of admission where one has to pass their 12th-class examination and qualify, the college reserves some seats under management quota where TNEA need not be attended.
