All the candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat and have opted for “Accept and Join” must download the TNEA provisional allotment order. After that, candidates have to report to the college on or before the date specified in the allotment order for admission.

Non-reporting and non-payment of fees, will be considered as not willing to join and the allotment order will be cancelled. Such candidates will lose the allotted seat and will not be considered for further rounds of the TNEA counselling.

No. Modification of choices can be done only before locking the choices in TNEA counselling. However, once it is locked, if the candidate wishes to modify the choices, candidates has to visit the TFC and submit a requisition letter along with his Aadhaar card copy for unlocking.

No. A candidates can enter any number of choices as there is no limitation to the number of choices to be filled in TNEA. However, the order of choices filled by the candidates is very important. A candidate will be given limited number of days for TNEA choice filling wherein, the candidate will have to exercise their choices of colleges and branches based on their preferences. The order of choices is important as the candidates will be allotted the seats as per the order of their preferred choices.

Candidates have to refer to the TNEA counselling schedule on the official website of TNEA. The rounds are classified based on Aggregate mark and General Rank. If the candidate’s general rank falls in between the start and end ranks mentioned against a round, then the candidate belongs to that round. Also cross check the round, by confirming if the aggregate marks obtained by the candidate is within the start and end aggregate marks of that round.
