IITTM is a good college. But if you want a good earning job it won't do much for you. Most of the students studied here and then worked with any travel company and then started their own travel agency and all which doesn't have much scope.

He can apply tentatively for the admission and submit his final result after the compartment exam. Till you can provide a provisional given by the school. He can go for Diploma/Bachelor course from universities like IGNOU, etc.

There is no fixed course that would include science & travel. You can opt for a course like archeology, become a scientist in geology that could involve travel for research work.
