IIIT Agartala is currently operating from the NIT Agartala campus on a temporary basis, and it is unlikely to change for at least the next five years. At present IIIT Agartala is temporarily functioning from NIT Agartala campus and it is offering BTech Computer Science and Engineering Program. IIIT Agartala is an institution of National Importance under MHRD - Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode and at present NIT Agartala is its mentor institute. IIIT Agartala offers four-year BTech in Computer Science Engineering divided into eight semesters. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate can apply for BTech programme.
