Hello Jhansee, Congratulations for the post-graduation. Here, let me tell you about the NET Exam. NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted for the Assistant professor in universities or colleges and the award of the Junior Research Fellowship. The UGC NET exam is conducted for around 84 subjects while the CSIR NET exam is conducted for the Science stream subjects like Physical Science, chemical Science, life Science, earth Science, and mathematical Science. Hello,
You have Masters degree in physics so you can apply for CSIR NET Physical Sciences. As per the latest notification CSIR NET 2018 will be held on 17th June 2018. Get the complete details from here - https://www.eduncle.com/csir-net-exam
To apply for the NET Exam you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters if you are from general/ OBC category or if you belong to SC/ST/PwD categories you should have scored minimum 50% aggregate.
To apply for the CSIR NET exam your maximum age should be 28 years. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/female applicants have up to 5 years relaxation in age criteria.

If you are a student of M.Sc. chemistry, you will have to opt for Chemistry as your subject in your NET exam. You should have completed Masters degree in Chemistry subject with above 55% marks to be eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for lectureship. Regards.

If you have done your PG in Journalism, you will have to select Mass Communication and Journalism as your subject in UGC NET. Question Pattern: There will be two question papers UGC NET Examination in Mass Communication and Journalism, Paper II and Paper III. Paper II will have 100 marks in total whereas Paper III will have 150 marks in total. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. NET exam is conducted to check the eligibility for the award of JRF or assistant professor in universities. Since you have qualified Master of Science in Statistics, you may take National Eligibility Test in Mathematics Sciences, provided you have obtained 55% or more in your Masters degree examination. The National Eligibility Test NET for Mathematical Science is conducted jointly by University Grant Commission and Council of Scientific & Industrial Research twice a year. The National Eligibility Test NET comprise of three sections:
Section A: General Science
Section B and Section C: Subject of Expertise.

You have completed M.Com course, So you will have to apply for UGC NET exam in Commerce subject and your degree must be approved by UGC. You can't apply for the UGC NET exam in Business studies. Regards.
