Devote your time thoroughly towards your preparation as it has a vast syllabus, just do not go for any new topic this time, revise what you have learned. Hi,You can go for either a regular degree or a correspondence. The college should be UGC approved. The subject of the NET should be the same as that of your Masters degree. Then you can pursue a Ph.D. and become a professor in a reputed university. The Ph.D. eligibility criteria is If you belong to a general category then your minimum post-graduation marks should be more than 55%. For SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates/Women applicants, it should be 50%. The very mistake which every second student does is to mug up the syllabus rather than mastering concepts as per topics priority, thinking that question will not be repeated at all. UGC NET exam does not repeat the questions from UGC NET previous year test papers but of course it repeats the concept.

Hello,
I am here by sharing the strategy with you people. Go through the past year questions, and identify the important topics within the portions given in the UGC NET Syllabus, after a couple of attempts of the past year paper, it will be easy for you to identify the topics which are asked. Don't rote learn past year questions because barring a few exceptions, they are seldom repeated. Make a well-structured study plan for preparation and keep at least 2 topics for each day.
