The acceptance rate at Queens University Belfast is around 35% which makes it selective in its admission process. Queen's Belfast has a selective admission policy based on the applicant's academic background and grades. Apart from this, your English langauge proficiency also plays a part in the admission process. No, Queen’s University Belfast is a public research university located in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. It was established in 1845. If we talk about the origins of the University, we find that it started with three Queen's Colleges (in Cork, Galway, and Belfast). It was in 1908 when the three Queen's Colleges and the Royal University were dissolved. These were replaced by Queen's University of Belfast and the National University of Ireland. Since then, the University has come a long to provide world-class research and high-quality education.
