DES Pune University accepts various entrance exams conducted at state/ national-level. However, candidates can also appear for the university's in-house entrance exam, i.e., DES PU PCET. In order to take admission for M.Sc in Biotechnology at Savitri Bai Phule Pune University, you need to qualify for the GATE exam. The institute accepts scores from GATE for admission to Msc. The GATE 2024 exam was conducted in February 2024. So as the exam is already conducted, if you want to take admission next year, you need to start preparing for the 2025 GATE. As you are getting enough time for preparation, you'll get a favorable score which will help you to get admission without any problem.

The most recent cutoffs for DY Patil Universitys Master of Business Administration  program in Pune differ depending on the entrance exam and category. The MHT CETs general category cutoff for 2023 was in the range of 87.8% to 89.15%. It fell between 82.74% and 84.43% for the SC category and between 85.74% and 87.41% for the OBC category.

With a 40 percentile in MHT CET, it might be a bit challenging to get into top engineering colleges under Pune University. However, you can still try for some colleges that accept lower percentiles. Some colleges you might consider are:

1. Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering
2. MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi
3. Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology
4. Sinhgad Institute of Technology
5. Zeal College of Engineering and Research

These colleges may have different cutoff and it’s best to check their official website or contact their admission office for more details.
