Candidates seeking admission to MA are required to have completed their relevant UG degree. For further selection, candidates have to appear for OEE conducted by UniPune for final selection. The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune.

Candidates must pass a minimu of Class 12 or equivalent from a statutory or recognised board/ university in India to apply for UniPune BSc programmes. Besides, the university conducts the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) for selection to these courses. The University also offers a five-year Integrated MSc in Biotechnology and a PG BSc programme to admission to which are completely based on merit released basis the OEE exam conducted by SPPU.

MBA is one of the most popular courses offered by the Department of Management Science, Savitribai Phule Pune University, under five specialisations consisting of six trimesters. Apart from MBA, PUMBA also provides an MBA in Pharma Biotechnology and an Executive MBA. The fee structure for MBA at Department off Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University ranges from INR 1.29 L to INR 1.52 L. The fees might include components other than tuition fees. PUMBA fee structure is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc.

The tuition fees for the MA course at Vishwakarma University range from INR 34,000 - INR 3.4 lakh. The tuition fees vary according to the specialisation selected by the students in the VU. On the other hand, tuition fees for the MA course at SIMC Pune range from INR 9.3 Lacs to INR 10.6 lakh. Hence, this is explicitly clear that Vishwakarma University is a more affordable choice for studnets. However, apart from the tuition fees candidates can compare both of these institutes on other parameters too, such as placement packages, availability of seats, specialisations offered by the institutes.
