The faculty at Yuvarajas College, University of Mysore is considered experienced and adequately qualified. Most of them have their higher education in their various specializations and they too have taught for many years. According to the respondents, professors are knowledgeable and give good academic support play a positive role in student learning. However, some students have argued that more differentiation could be made in the methods used to teach the courses mainly in some departments.

Of course, being one of the best colleges in Mysore, Yuvarajas College, University of Mysore, has most of the experienced and qualified faculty members. Many of the faculty members have postgraduate qualifications in their specializations with some even with doctorate degrees. It is noteworthy that the college aims at employing strong academic performers able to facilitate knowledge with experience. Comments from students reveals that the majority of the faculty have eing friendly and knowledgeable and that there is room for improvement where teaching techniques is concern.
