This is mainly an agricultural school: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is neither known nor purportedly recognised in engineering courses, other than offering B.Tech programs in some engineering domains such as Agricultural Engineering. While available to other engineering aspirants, being in an institution with a dedicated portfolio in engineering might provide a better reputation for the branch.

Yes, the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University is a decent option for B.A. LL.B. Considered one of the oldest and best law colleges in India, it was established in 1909. It provides a good program, knowledgeable instructors, and many extra activities. So many successful lawyers and judges have graduated from this institution.
