Separate hostel for boys and girls. The boys hostel has two independent blocks which can accommodate 350 students. The room rent and service charges are nominal. The mess for both the blocks is running on dividing system. The hostel has amenities like Indoor Games, Reading room, Sports, Library, T.V. etc.

About 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Companies like Tata, Microsoft, etc., visited our college for placements. I don't know the information about internships. Most of the students are offered roles in artificial intelligence. Almost 70-75% of students got placed in top companies. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Many students got internships in this course.

The faculty members in the University B.D.T College of Engineering are qualified and experienced, and most of them have PhDs. In all, there are about 128 faculty members in this college, which favors a good number of 1:4 between a faculty member and student for better personal attention. Most of the faculty members have around 25 to more years of teaching experience, thus creating an excellent academic atmosphere for the students. They also are mostly concerned with keeping the students engaged and teach with proper methodologies. In addition to the courses, the faculty is interested in carrying out research and consultancy work.

To get admission in B.E. / B.Tech from University B.D.T College of Engineering, candidates are to follow the given structured admission process. Firstly they will register for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET. The eligibility is 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates can apply online through an application form available on the college website after the announcement of KCET. The admission process is strictly merit-based. The cut-off marks vary according to courses and years for admission into Visvesvaraya Technological University's University B.D.T College of Engineering.
