Dean’s International Scholar Award is awarded to new international bachelor’s and master’s students. This scholarship is worth USD 4,250 / semester for the bachelor’s degree students and USD 4,000 / semester for master’s degree students, that covers a large portion of non-resident tuition rate. Also, there are private scholarships through which students can fund their education.

Yes, for UMKC MSc in Finance course, GRE / GMAT test score is required. If the applicants score 600 or higher or its equivalent GRE, they are going to get automatic admission. GMAT waivers will be granted to applicants with a 3.0 GPA or at least 2 years of work experience. Other admission requirements are:
- Official transcripts
- Resume
- Goal statement
- English language proficiency requirements

UMKC has a test-optional policy and under this policy, the applicants with a 2.75 or higher GPA may be admitted to UMKC without submitting an ACT or SAT score. Note that international students are not required to submit an ACT or SAT score for admission regardless of their programme of interest.
