The third merit list of Mumbai University 2023 is released for admission to UG programmes in MU-affiliated colleges. The merit list had the name of applicants who were shortlisted for admission on the basis of marks they have secured in the qualifying examination. For admission to Mumbai University, application forms are usually out in the last week of May on the official website (mu.ac.in). Candidates seeking admission to Mumbai University for various UG and PG programmes must fill out the application form, followed by a pre-enrollment form online. For access to the login window of the Mumbai University application form, candidates are required to register first (on the official website). Mumbai University admission is currently open. The admission process is completely merit and entrance-based for all its UG, PG and doctoral-level courses.

The asked course is not in the list of Inter disciplinary studies of Mumbai University. However the eligibility criteria of Diploma in film making and other diploma courses is 10+2 in any stream.

No, it's not considered as a 2nd attempt. But at some places the improvement marksheet is not accepted. Means they treat it as a 2nd attempt, but at maximum places it is accepted i.e. they treat it like 1st attempt.

But don't worry for the places who don't accept the improvement marksheet use original 12th marksheet at those places for admission process.

Yes, you will be admitted directly in the second year of engineering after you complete post SSC Diploma in engineering (polytechnic) from DTE recognised institute.

DTE every year conducts Central Admission Process (CAP) for such lateral entry. They start this process as soon as all the universities from Maharashtra announces their first year engineering results or just after first year engineering admission process completes. Normally it is observed that every non-minority college with 60 intakes has minimum of 12 seats reserved for Diploma holders.

"You will get your enrollment number/ registration number after you apply for any course. After application form is submitted, you will get confirmation message along with all details where you will get your registration number. After selection, during admission process you will get enrollment number. After completion of whole process, you will get roll number and university registration number using which  you can get all your details and your exam score marks."

Yes, you can get admission in Mumbai university for B.Tech course through JEE Mains. 

But you can get admission in government college if you score more than 90%. 

The cut off is always high.
