Yes, Mumbai University offers hostel facility to its students. The University of Mumbai has 4 boys’ hostels and 3 girls’ hostels. The hostels have all the basic and advanced amenities like water purifiers, a common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, Wi-Fi connectivity, Television, Geyser, Newspapers, Mess, Gym and surveillance system etc. There is a separate hostel for international students.

Final selection for BTech (Biotechnology and Bioinformatics) is based on merit score obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the University. The entrance test will be of one and a half hours duration. There will be one question paper containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Students having a valid score in JEE Main/ MHT CET will be exempted to take University-based exam. Also, admission to the BTech (Engineering) is done through qualifying JEE Main/ MHT CET exams.
