It is not so easy to pick any of them. Both Oxford University and MIT are world-class institutions. Almost every student wants to study in any of them, but they excel in different subjects.

  • The Oxford University in UK, is renowned for humanities, social sciences, and research tradition, offering a broad education.
  • On the other hand, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in USA is globally famous for STEM, engineering, and technology innovation.

In short, the better institute for you totally depends on your interest of study and career goals, rather than overall prestige.

Tutorials at University of Oxford are considered central for teaching. These tutorials take place between group of 2-3 students rather than large classroom teaching. Personal attention to students can be provided through this method, which isn't possible through regular lectures alone.

These tutorials help students in many ways such as:

  • Direct feedback from the teachers

  • Introduction of new topics

  • Exchange of ideas

  • Constructive criticism

  • Ability to think broadly
