Founded in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College and then merged into JNTUH in 1972, JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad is indeed a renowned institution. It is renowned for its 79 courses, which include dual-degree programs B.Tech, and M.Tech degrees and is situated on a 100-acre campus in Kukatpally. AICTE-accredited and ranked 88th in NIRF 2024 it has a faculty with a wealth of experience and good placements. It is regarded as one of Telangana leading engineering schools thanks to business partnerships, research projects and a strong alumni network.

The School of Management Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, is generally considered to have good and experienced faculty. Most of the professors have years of teaching experience, and many of them hold Ph.D. degrees. Students often mention that the teaching is clear, the syllabus is well-covered, and the faculty are supportive both academically and in career guidance. The college also organises guest lectures from experts in the industry.

School of Management Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, offers BBA and MBA courses. Admission to the BBA course is not based on any entrance exam. Admission to the MBA course at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the TSICET exam. In 2025, the last round cutoff rank for the exam was around 45 for students belonging to the general category.

The competition after CUET is quiet high. And Sadly, 121 marks is less for a popular central university. As university of Hyderabad is the desirable university for many students, the cutoff would go high. You can try in other state's central universities, by checking last year's cutoff for history in those universities.

Yes, you can surely get admission at UoH- University of Hyderabad for the admission to M.Tech course via GATE CCMT with a acquired score of 500. Recently, the University of Hyderabad cutoff 2025 has been released for the various All India category candidates, wherein the Round 1 seat allotment result for the General AI category stood between 493 and 536. Analysing the cutoff, we can see that two M.Tech specialisations are available under a score of 500 which can be viable option for the candidates seeking admission under General AI quota.
