Hi Shariq!
The UPSC CSE Prelims exam consists of two papers namely, the general studies papers I and II. GS II is also known as the CSAT and in this paper you have to score a minimum of 33%. In GS paper I, you need to score the minimum cut-off marks to qualify for the IAS Mains exam. In order to do well in the exam, you should follow these small tips that will help you attain your goals:

Both are important and challenging. Teaching is not only a challenging but you will find a satisfaction through a different world, for it you have to face many difficulties also. UPSC will give you both name and fam. It has both glamour and high responsibility. For it, you must study thoroughly and sincerely. Above all, your interest should be first priority. Whichever UG course you pursue doesn't matter, as you want to appear for UPSC. Any UG pass out can appear for civil service examination. A person in my city was a B.Tech graduate and cleared preliminary and mains in one attempt. When he was asked the reason of his success, he told that he solved the previous year's question papers of UPSC and read the current affairs of India everyday.
