If you are serious to pursue UPSC exams then it is the correct choice. UPSC has over 9 qualifying papers, and you should start preparing as soon as possible. It is extremely common for students to opt for subjects they want to study for in their UPSC exams, and you should start preparations as soon as possible.

Hi, Ayushi, you can go for MBA, and if you don't want cost to occur, you can try for MBA. You can write MAT exam in February, and get into reputed college with scholarship.

It totally depends on your interest. IIM will be good if you are interested towards management side and UPSC if you want to get a govt. job. So just find your interest.

There are many subjects and this is totally your choice in which subject you are good or by a hard labour you make it strong and complete the exams syllabus so choose a subject on your own.

After graduation, you have a chance to appear for civil services exam conducted by the Central or state government. Mainly exam is conducted in 3 part i.e prelims, Mains and interview. For the preparation, try to make your general knowledge strong and choose one optional subject which is really good for you.

Hello Akshay,
Here are the exam which you have to pass to become an IPS officer
1. Preliminary ExaminationThe preliminary examination will consist of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks. This examination is meant to serve as a screening test only.
2. Main Examination
The main examination will consist of 9 papers in total comprising of conventional essay type questions.
3. Interview/Personality TestThe interview will carry 275 marks (with no minimum qualifying marks).
Marks obtained by the candidates (in the main examination as well as interview) would determine their final ranking.

First you should decide what you want to do: BA or appear for the UPSC exams. If you are aiming to do BA economics you should try and score high marks in your 10+2 level examinations so that you are eligible to gain admission in BA economics in a college of your choice.
If you are interested in the civil services, you should devote yourself to studying for the UPSC exams,as this is no mean task. You will have to study at least 8-10 hours a day depending on your capacity to grasp different topics.
So basically, you should first sit down and decide which course or exam you want to give. You could also take the help of a career counselor
