Single sitting degree is banned by UGC, so any UGC recognised institute will not provide this degree. You need to check with college officials about the same.

Hi
Civil services can be done with any stream. There are basically three stages of civil service exams-:
1) For preliminary –
a. First subject is general studies (GK+ current events + logistic aptitude + reasoning + all subjects studied till class 10th).
b. Second subject is optional (your favourite subject of any stream syllabus till class 10th level).
2) For Mains exam also: subjects are English or Hindi and two optional subjects.
So you can choose your subjects in 11th as per your liking and interest.

Serious preparation is fine in the last year of B.Sc. But you should keep reading books for UPSC exam and brush up your general awareness on current events and GK. Continue with light early preparation as well.

Hello Sandip,
Normally, class 12 subject does not have much impact, but if you are serious from 11th for UPSC, then you can choose arts stream. Civil services mainly covers the subjects like history, geography and other humanities subjects.
Good Luck!
