It is difficult to compare Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC with Engineering degree. However, Job opportunities after Civil Services and after engineering degree can be compared. Civil Services is the best job in India but is the most competitive examination in world. Number of seat available in Civil Services ate only in three digits every years where as opportunities from engineering job are in five digits. By the way you can appearing in Civil Services examination after graduation degree in engineering.
