MIT is one of the top most universities and hence the admissions are equally competitive. There is no set strategy to get admission but you may look at the profiles of their alumni to see what got them there. Also, you haven't mentioned your educational qualification or the course you wish to go for.

Admission requirements are different from college to college. If you want to study in a good university a percentage of 70 and above, a SAT score of 1350 + and TOEFL score of 100 is ideal.

You must take the SAT, so start preparing for the same if you haven't. Take the TOEFL too. Complete your 12th with good grades to get into a good university. Kindly, visit various university websites for admission requirements and prepare to submit on time. All the information is available on the university websites and you can email them for any confusion.

The eligibility varies from programme to programme but an overview is MIT being a top ranked university you must have good scores. If you are applying to an UG course take the SAT. For PG courses take the GRE. Additional to these you must have a dynamic profile with high level of intellect.

It is early to assess situation in US and name the exact locations or states or universities. Universities are still welcoming students, a welcome movement is on too.
Australia is gaining popularity. The living expenses are high, but for a student you will get affordable accommodation. New Zealand is another great destination now. Asia Pacific overall is a hub. Canada is too a favorite and its really affordable and safe. France and Netherlands are other choices.

Migration to any country is easy if you study there and then apply for a job and work visa. Getting a job from India won't be that easy to either of the countries. In order of easiness, Canada, Germany and then USA for PR. You may also consider Australia. The best way is to check their skill shortage list and then look for a job or course accordingly.

You need to start by end of grade 10 or early 11th by taking up SAT/ACT and TOEFL/IELTS as if you don't score well, you have the chance of improving it. You will also need to shortlist 5 to 10 universities which offer the course of ur choice and manageable finances. LORs and transcript can be prepared when in 12th after your semester exam and application process starts by December.
