You indeed have obtained a good percentile in your JEE Mains examination. Everything above 90 is always good but remember CSE is the top choice of almost every student and the total number of seats in this branch are limited. Your percentile indicates that there are nine percent (100-91) students who are above you. This means approximately 90000 students are above you if we take 10 lakh as the number of students who appeared for this examination. For admission to the course, eligible candidates are needed to qualify a relevant entrance examination, conducted at any of institute, state and national levels. Two subsequent rounds of group discussion and personal interview subsequently follow for assessment of candidate's general aptitude for the course. Hi, IIAE Dehradun is a private college and has a very typical structure that admits students based on the marks obtained in 12th class + telephonic interview. First two years of the course are conducted in Dehradun and last 2 years are conducted in a country abroad where the institute has a tie up. The student passes out from that country. Best wishes.

I think you will have to clear the entrance exam for the same. It does not matter if you are from Uttarakhand or not. The university takes admission on the basis of entrance exam only. I hope it helps.
