Hello Ankit,
You indeed have obtained a good percentile in your JEE Mains examination. Everything above 90 is always good but remember CSE is the top choice of almost every student and the total number of seats in this branch are limited. Your percentile indicates that there are nine percent (100-91) students who are above you. This means approximately 90000 students are above you if we take 10 lakh as the number of students who appeared for this examination. The cuttoff for Hyderabad and Dehradun will likely be between 62(lowest)-68 percentile. So, if you have percentile more than 62+ you have chances to secure admission.

B.Tech from UPES is far better than Graphic Era if you consider a core subject like mechanical/petroleum engineering. For computer science engineering you should consider Graphic Era.

GEU is one of the finest colleges in Dehradun for management courses. It is very feasible, not much expensive. I think for the quality of education we pay the amount is not much, we have facilities like comp lab, best accommodation, best faculties and good infrastructure. Placements are good and there are good opportunities for you. But IMS is a management institute providing better opportunities to management students, so you should go for IMS. Both the colleges stand at the same position.
