Hi Gunjan, FFCS system sometimes helps when we need it the most i.e. last date to submit the assignment. It's not about effectiveness but through this system you can see your marks grades and attendance leaves etc. It's for this purpose only. Some teachers in VIT are good and some are bad as in every other college in respective of explaining concepts but let me tell you this in VIT from second semester you have to choose your own faculty that's the good thing about VIT. There are lots of cooperative and good teachers in CSE as well as other branches. Hope this helps.

In that much rank u will get mechanical in VIT vellore in first category but u will get cse in second or third category.Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category admission, fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank, and you can get cse till 7000 rank rank but there are 2nd category as well, if you want cse, but you have to pay more for that.The placements in VIT are good .CSE average package goes to 6-7 lakhs per annum

Sorry, it is not possible to get mechanical in the first category, but you may get in the 3rd category. But, you have to pay more fees for that.

You will get mechanical branch in VIT, Vellore but in second or third category (i. e. you have to pay more for that desired branch). Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category admission, fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank, and you can get Mechanical till 16000 rank but there are 2nd category as well, if you want mechanical, but you have to pay more for that. Hi,
The placements at VIT are way much good compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lacs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lacs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.
