If you have interest in Sketching & are passionate about Animation, then opt for it. Web and Graphic Design could be learnt in one to one & half year. If it includes Web development, then ensure that you possess logical skills along with creative aptitude
Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess.
Learning Software alone won't help you. First acquire artistic skills on paper, then learn application software's for expressing skills in the Digital Medium.
Digital Media and Animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and Autonomous Institutes & Universities.
While choosing any institute ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's.

VFX could be studied through 3 types of courses. Under B.A (Hons) Communication & Design - Visual Effects and B.Sc Digital Media (Visual Effects). One may also learn VFX with other important subjects like 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Digital Designing, Video Editing etc through B.Sc Media Technologies. Please speak to 8886823457 in order to understand which course would be the most apt one for your interest/attitude/abilities. Fee would be approximately Rs 45000 per semester for B.Sc Media Technologies and Rs 75,000 per term for the other two courses. Hope your query has been answered. Animation is an art form. It is rewarding but equally demanding field where your creative abilities & passion for the medium will hold the key to growth. Learning Software alone won't help you. First acquire artistic skills on paper, then learn application software's for expressing skills in the Digital Medium. Having Degree in Arts(BA) or Science(BSc) or Technology(B.Tech) or Design(B.Des) won't make much difference. However not having right mentor will make the difference.
Apart from having Proficient and Experienced Faculty Members, you must also consider any College/ Institute on parameters like infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's as well as placement opportunities provided.
