First, you start preparing for NID and go for admission in NID, Ahmedabad.

Greetings.
Let me tell you that video editing and VFX are completely two diff things. By pursuing mass communication degree you can learn video editing, but VFX stream is a different studies. You can join ZICA for pursuing the same.

As per me, you should join a regular degree course for mass communication where you can do photography and videography both at once and VFX can be done as a part-time course from the institution near you.

If you have a natural talent in sketching and if you also have an interest in animation and VFX, you should straightaway take a career decision to enter animation in a big way. Depending on your age and current qualification, you should only search for studying animation at a professional level either as a full-time degree or Master's degree or specialised skill development courses.
