If you are seeking admission in electrical engineering branch then my suggestion would be VIT. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. It is better than BMS-Bangalore. BMS-Bangalore is also a good option. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.
Good luck.

I'll prefer you to opt for the VIT as this college is far better than the Thapar University as VIT is one of the top private college of India and also this college is better than Thapar in every respect whether it is placements, faculty or infrastructure.

You must have to appear the VITEEE 2019 SRMEEE 2019 EXAM, there is no connection with JEE.
Without exam clearance, you are not eligible to get admission.

You have to score an aggregate of 60% in the board exam. There is no such entrance examination, I mean for sure, you will get selected. The thing is to submit your application form in time.
