For admission you need fulfill the following criterion:-
The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1993 if belonging to the Open or OBC-NCL category and, on or after October 1, 1988 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category. The candidate should have qualified, I.e, obtained a rank in UCEED 2018. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2017 or 2018. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are not eligible. I don't know much about that but u can refer from here. You will get CSE core in VIT Vellore but under third category. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category admission, fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank, and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank, but there are 2nd category as well, if you want CSE, but you have to pay more for that. But if you want branch in first category in this, much rank then u will get civil, electronics. Hope this helps.
