Easy Explanation: VIT B.Tech Admission According to the Ranks

  • If your rank is up to 1 lakh, you can get admission in VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai.
  • If your rank is above 1 lakh, you can only get admission in VIT Bhopal or VIT Andhra Pradesh.

No, the students will not be guaranteed admissions if they meet the VITEEE cutoff. However, they will have higher chances of admission if the cutoff is met. Since other factors will also be considered for admission, the students can check the cutoff for their admission chances.

Yes, only the VITEEE scores will be used to prepare the cutoff. Since no other entrance exam score will be accepted for admission, the authorities will prepare the cutoff using the VITEEE scores. While preparing the cutoff, the scores are an integral factor.

VITEEE cutoff is prepared after checking different admission and exam factors. Some important factors are the previous cutoff trends, exam difficulty level, number of applicants, number of available seats for admission and more.

After the students are allotted seats, they will have to confirm their VITEEE admission. The tuition fee has to be paid and the students will have to report to their institute for document verification. The original documents and photocopies have to submitted for verification.

Students allotted through the VITEEE counselling process cannot request to change their allotment. Since the allotment is done according to the student's rank and preference, the authorities will not accept any requests to make changes.

Since the exam is held in different slots, there are chances of the papers being of different difficulty levels. To make sure the students are scored fairly, an equating methodology will be followed. The question papers will be marked while following a standardized method to balance the scores.
