Highly unlikely. CSE at VIT Vellore usually closes in the low five? figure to high four? figure ranks, far ahead of 47k. What's practical: CSE (specialisations) / IT / ECE at Chennai, Andhra Pradesh or Bhopal campuses, or core branches at Vellore (still competitive). If you're fixated on CSE at Vellore, watch for paid category upgrades, but fees climb steeply (think well over twenty Lacs rupees total in higher categories). Alternatively, compare SRM, Manipal (via MET), Amrita (AEEE), PES/REVA/Christ (Karnataka) before you decide.

Yes, improvement exam marks are accepted by VIT for eligibility. In case you are not able to obtain 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your 2025 board exams, you can take improvement exams. Your updated marks will be considered by VIT if you satisfy the minimum eligibility requirement prior to admission. Make sure that your improved marksheet is ready during counselling and document verification for VITEEE or admission procedure.

Yes, you can get into VITEEE even if you're awaiting supplementary (compartment) results in August, but only provisionally—your seat will be confirmed after passing.

Also, you must clear the failed subject before counselling and show the pass certificate to finalize admission .

To perform well in the aptitude section of VITEEE, focus on sharpening your logical reasoning, data interpretation, and numerical ability. Start by practicing sample questions from previous years and mock tests available online. Allocate daily time for solving puzzles, mental math, and reading data charts. Use standard books like R.S. Aggarwal for aptitude, and focus on understanding patterns rather than rote learning. Time management is crucial—solve within the clock and review your mistakes to improve. A calm mind and consistent practice can make a big difference in your performance.
