Yes, you have got a decent rank but it would not be sufficient to fetch you an integrated M.Tech seat in software engineering under category 1 at Vellore campus of VIT. You can possibly get it in second category but chances of it are slim as seats are limited and the mentioned course is most common choice in integrated programme. The best possible options are:
Integrated CSE at Vellore (1 or 2), Integrated CSE with specialisation in Data Science at Vellore (Category 1 most probably else in second category), Integrated CSE at Chennai (category 1), Integrated CSE with specialisation in business system at Chennai (Category 1).

The integrated M.Tech in CSE in VIT Vellore may require a rank of under 1500 in the VITEEE to be eligible for getting a seat at the Vellore Institute Of Technology. Anything above the rank is considered to be less chance of getting placed in the Integrated M.Tech in VIT Vellore.

No, The students applying for the entrance exam to the B.Tech program must have a minimum percentage of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in their Class 12 in order to get eligible for attending the VITEEE. Since you have got 43% in your Maths you are not eligible to write the VITEEE exam.

VITEEE offers both engineering and biotechnology programs. For engineering programs, it is not compulsory to study Biology. However, if you are interested in applying for biotechnology programs, studying Biology is necessary. If you do not want to pursue biotechnology, you can focus on Physics Chemistry and Mathematics for the VITEEE exam.

For VITEEE preparation, the students can create a timetable for themselves so that they are on schedule with their preparation progress. After checking the official VIT syllabus, the students should consider all of the chapters and topics and prepare a timetable that is upto their standards and ability. It is important for the student to not go overboard. The timetable should be created in slots where the students can study various topics in one day and the process does not get monotonous. Candidates are advised to check the important topics in VITEEE Mathematics section to know which topics may have higher weightage in the question paper. However, the candidates are advised to check and study the entire syllabus to be well prepared for the examination. The important topics can be checked for reference. Some of the important topics in VITEEE Mathematics are Application of Derivatives, Matrices in Algebra Determinants Calculus, Probability Complex Numbers, Continuity and Differentiability.

While candidates are advised to study the entire VIT syllabus, there are certain topics which have often seen to have higher weightage in the examination. Candidates can check these important chapters and study it to have a higher chance of securing good marks in the examination. Some of the important chapters of VITEEE Physics section are Optics Semiconductors, Mechanics, Oscillation and Waves Modern Physics Electromagnetic Induction and AC. While candidates are encouraged to give important to these topics, they are also advised to not miss out on studying the entire syllabus.

Having good books for VITEEE preparation is very important. Along with the school books, the students are also encouraged to check a few extra books that will help to boost their preparation progress. In Physics students usually refer to Understanding Physics by DC Pandey, Principles of Physics by Resnick, Halliday & Walker and Concept of Physics by HC Verma. Students can study Mathematics from Integral Calculus by Admit Aggarwal, Trigonometry by SL Loney and Higher Algebra by Hall & Knight. Before starting the VITEEE preparation, the students should prepare a strong strategy that will allow them to be confident and ace the examination. Firstly, the students should be familiar with the official VIT exam pattern and syllabus.
