To get RCCIIT Kolkata B.Tech admission the candidate must appear for the JEE Main/WBJEE examination and secure a valid score. The RCCIIT Kolkata M.Tech admissions are based on GATE /WB PGET examination scores.

Candidate securing rank in PGET are eligible for admission in M.Tech courses through counselling conducted by MAKAUT, WB. GATE- Candidates qualifying in GATE examination are also eligible to undergo two years postgraduate M.Tech.

Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid score in GATE are eligible for M.Tech degree course. Candidates who have completed a 5-year programme in Science or Applied Sciences resulting in the award of a Master of Science degree are also eligible for Master of Engineering course.

Placements in RCCIIT Kolkata are generally good, with a high percentage of students getting placed (around 85% according to Soham). 

The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, and PwC.

Yes, there are various scholarship programs at DAITM, Kolkata. For students who got 90% or higher marks in 12th standard they will get 65% of the first semester tuition fee waived off.  If your grades in 12th standard are 80% or higher, 45% of your tuition fee may be waived in the first semester itself.

Approximately 90 students can pursue the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at DAITM, Kolkata And I would really  suggest that this is one of the good institute depending upon its placement record and campus environment.

The highest package for BBA students at DAITM, Kolkata is somewhere around INR 3,50,000. There are some reknown recruiters as well. 21 companies visited the campus and 59 students got placed in BBA. The main companies visited the DAITM campus were Amazon, Tcs, Wipro etc.

In the 2023 batch, 26 companies actively participated in the placement process at RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) in Kolkata. Here are some notable placements:

1. BMC: Offered the highest package of INR 14 LPA.
2. Johnson Controls: Extended offers with a package of INR 10 LPA.

Overall, 75.60% of students from the 2023 batch secured placements across various companies.
