NCHMCT-JEE Exam: You need to take the NCHMCT-JEE entrance exam for M.Sc. applications.

Results and Cutoff Release: Once the exam results are out, NCHMCT typically releases the cutoff marks for M.Sc. programs at various IHM campuses, including Kolkata, based on rank and category.

Counseling Rounds: After cutoff announcements, counseling rounds begin where applicants with ranks above the cutoff can choose and confirm their desired M.Sc. programme and IHM campus based on seat availability

IHM Kolkata's B.Sc. is a top choice, so the cutoff ranks are pretty high. Last year, you needed to be within the top 142 to 2143 in the NCHMCT-JEE to secure a seat. For the open category in Round 1, the closing rank was 2143, which was actually slightly lower than 2022's 2172.

Cutoff varies based on your category too. Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) had much lower cutoffs, around 9876 and 5421 respectively.

Yes, with an NCHMCT JEE percentile score of 88%, candidates have a very good chance of being admitted into the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Kolkata's BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration program.

Using the most recent admission standards that IHM Kolkata has released:

- To be eligible, candidates in the general category must have a minimum NCHMCT JEE percentile of 50%.

- Candidates are significantly above the minimum cut-off marks with an 88 percentile score. This implies that they ought to be able to easily obtain IHM Kolkata during the IHM counseling and allocation procedure for all of India.

- During counseling, candidates wi

It's not easy to compare the M.Sc. programs offered by Rewa Engineering College (REC) and the Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata (IHMK) because they specialize in distinct fields—engineering and hospitality management, respectively. Choose the one that is "better" for you based on your personal objectives and interests

1. Your Desired Career Path:

IHMK: Perfect for those looking to work in event management, restaurants, hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, or the tourism industry.
REC: Fit for someone who wants to work in civil, mechanical, electrical, or other engineering disciplines.
