The college is accredited by the NBA, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with WBUT (West Bengal University of Technology). It offers UG, PG and PhD courses in the field of Engineering, Commerce, Science, Management, and Humanities & Law. JIS university allocates seat to the candidates on the basis of WBJEE score and even conduct its own entrance examination known as JELET .

Yes, NIPS Hotel Management Institute, Kolkata is as good as NSHM Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management Kolkata. However, according to recent reviews NSHM Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management Kolkata ( out of 5 ) 4.7 for placements, 4.8 for infrastructure and campus crowd, 5 for faculty and 4.7 for placements, which are better than NIP. NSHM Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management Kolkata is graded "B" by NAAC.
Taking placements into consideration, NIPS offeresd INR 14 LPA has highest salary package and INR 4 LPA as an average salary package, whilst, NSHM offered INR 7 LPA as the highest and INR 5 LPA as an average salary pack

It is described as a “Knowledge Hub of Global Excellence” It has good infrastructure and professors with industrial experience. the school also received a high ratinng of 5.0.
The Institute is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). The college has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
So, I think yes it is good as future business School

Yes, NSHM Kolkata admissions 2025-26 are open to UG and PG courses. Candidates can apply through the official website.The NSHM Media School Kolkata application forms are available online on the NSHM website. To apply, students need to fill up the online application form and video chat with counselors/faculty members. The entire admission process can be completed from the safety of one's home in a hassle-free manner. Students can also visit the counselors at the campus for admission with prior appointment. The admission application form pdf is received after form submission to the student's Email ID.

The admissions procedure for 2023 is already closed, hence as of today, December 28, 2023, the minimum grades needed for an M.Sc. at IISER Kolkata are no longer applicable. The next intake in 2024 will see admittance, and the official announcement of the minimal marks has not yet occurred.
Nevertheless, based on previous study and trends:
The cutoff ranks for JEE Advanced could be between 14 and 18.
Cutoff ranks for KVPY may range from 30 to 40.
Cutoff scores for the State & Central Board (IISER Aptitude Test) may range from 80% to 90%.
