Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Agra University are both well-known universities in India, but they differ in terms of their academic programs, facilities, and overall reputation. AMU is a central university located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It is recognised for its strong academic programs, particularly in the fields of medicine, engineering, law, and social sciences. AMU has a diverse student body and a reputation for academic excellence, which has helped it earn a high ranking in various national and international university rankings. On the other hand, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Agra University, also known as Agra University, is a state university located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as arts, Science, commerce, management, law, and education. While Agra University has a decent reputation, it may not be as highly regarded as AMU in terms of academic quality and research output. In summary, if you are looking for a university with a strong academic reputation and a diverse student body, AMU may be the better choice. However, if you are looking for a university that offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, Agra University may be a viable option. Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal preferences, academic goals, and career aspirations.

In AMU, what is meant by both the Science stream and Diploma in engineering? How is the Diploma engineering course in AMU? It's quite good! But it depends on a few factors that how better it will be for you!
If you want to work soon then obviously it is a good choice as after pursuing the Diploma you will be able to apply for various government Job and if you are a skillful then you can even get a better package in the private sector too!
Also, this depends on the branch!
But if you are interested to go for higher studies then it will not be a good choice. After Diploma in engineering, you can get admission only to BE or B.Tech! The problem arises if you want to go for further studies in AMU! For B.Tech there is no lateral entry in AMU+ you have to go for AMU B.Tech Entrance test which is +2 (PCM) based test that is usually very problematic for Diploma students! For BE, there are only three branches in AMU (Mechanical, Civil & Electrical)!
Let me tell you one good thing that you can directly get admission (without entrance) in AMU B.Tech if you are the topper in your Diploma!
