Most of the students get placement from here but I think some well reputed organisations and companies should offer placements.

M.Tech. in Agricultural Process and Food Engineering - Batch of 2023
3.6

Very poor placement cell.
Placements: 5% of students were placed in this course. The highest package offered was 3 LPAs. The top recruiting companies are Allana and IFFCO. Students do not get placed for internships here in this course. Roles offered are: QA/QC, food analyst, R&D executive, and chemist.
Infrastructure: The labs are all well-equipped and the classrooms are teach-savvy. Wi-Fi is reliable with seamless online access. The library has a diverse range of books available. All your basic hostel needs are fulfilled. The mess food is hygienic and of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well qualified, with excellent teaching skills The course curriculum is relevant; the only thing is that optional subjects like ethics and disaster management should have been replaced by food-related subjects. Pass percentage: 35%.
Other: The prospect of contributing to the ever-evolving food industry drew me to this course. The best thing about this course is the balance of practical as well as theoretical knowledge. The senior faculty members, the staff and professors are well qualified and cooperative. The only thing I wish could be improved are the placement opportunities. Since our faculty is not on campus, we are far from campus life. This is one of the drawbacks. But our faculty is quite engaged in curricular activities, in conducting webinars, and in poster competitions. Merit-based scholarships are also available.

B.A. in English - Batch of 2026

Horrible attitude issues with faculty. But there is good infrastructure .
Placements: Placements are average, which is around 70%. The average package was INR 4.5 LPA, the highest was INR 8.7 LPA, and the lowest was INR 3.2 LPA. Notable recruiters included publishing houses and media firms. 50% of students got internships at companies like Penguin Random House. The top roles varied from content writers to editorial assistants.
Infrastructure: The English Department offers decent facilities: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel facilities and food in the mess are satisfactory. Medical support as well as sports facilities are available but could improve. Overall, there are no issues related to any facilities.
Faculty: Teaching, I would say, is a weak point here in the English department. The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not helpful at all and also not supportive; they have attitude issues and also skip classes; the curriculum is very lengthy; and exams are very difficult and very lengthy to write.

Really excellent teaching and infrastructure.
Placements: AMU B.Tech. teaches electrical engineering. Generally, placement stands at 70–80%. The highest package is around 10–12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6-7 LPA. The top recruiters are ABB, Reliance power, Havells, etc. Top roles can vary from electrical engineer to project manager and design engineer in sectors like power generation.
Infrastructure: The course facilities were of high quality, providing a reliable Wi-Fi connection and a plethora of resources within the library. The hostel facilities were satisfactory, with only occasional maintenance issues. The mess and canteen provided food that met basic standards. Medical services are easily accessible.
Faculty: The teachers are absolutely amazing. They are so supportive, knowledgeable and really helped with excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is extremely relevant and ensures we are industry-ready. Let me tell you, the exams are no joke. The pass percentage is good, though.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry - Batch of 2024

Good infrastructure. Satisfied with the education system.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80% got placement in my course. They get a minimum package of INR 4 lacs per year. The top recruiting companies are ONGC, CIPLA, etc. The top roles offered in my course are research scientists. Teachers are very kind and supportive. Classrooms are equipped with smart class facilities.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are excellent. Free Wi-Fi, a massive library with plenty of books, and classrooms are well maintained. The food that is provided in the hostel is cheap in price but very delicious. Hygienic food facilities. Medical facilities are available 24/7.
Faculty: Yes, every teacher is well qualified, knowledgeable and very supportive and helpful. The teaching quality is quite good. Also, the course curriculum and events are organized at regular intervals to prepare students for field work. Semesters as well as midterms are conducted at regular intervals, which are quite difficult.
Other: I chose chemistry for graduation because I want to be a research scientist. And I want to work for the betterment of my country.
