Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses. 

Aligarh Muslim University offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. AMU offers BTech across ten specialisations including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, CSE, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, among others. AMU conducts Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE) for BTech admission and it is not very tough for candidates already appeared for JEE Mains. Students who have prepared well for the board examination or JEE Mains can easily crack the AMU entrance test for BTech admission. 

Aligarh Muslim University offers a full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to AMU for BSc must visit the official website of the University to apply online. AMU BSc admission is completely entrance-based. Depending upon the BSc specialisation chosen by a candidate, the admission is provided based on candidates' marks in either AMU Entrance Exam or CUET-UG. Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission is based on AMUEEE. This process can only be conducted in online mode. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. Candidates who secure the cut-off ranks decided by the university for various counselling rounds will be allotted seats for BTech at the university.

The Aligarh Muslim University only accepts AMUEEE scores for admission to the BTech course. The AMUEEE is private- engineering exam with a very high volume of applicants every year which means th competition level among students is also very high.

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The AMU, Faculty of Management studies and research offers MBA in four major specialisations namely Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations along with International Business, Hospital Administration and Islamic Banking and Finance. Apart from these, the university offers PG Diploma in Marketing Management, a Master of Insurance & Risk Management (MIRM) and a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) Marketing Management courses.

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University offers a two-year full-time B.Ed course at the undergraduate level. AMU B.Ed admission is based on candidates' performance in a departmental test conducted by the University. The B.Ed course is offered at Aligarh, Malappuram and Murshidabad campuses. The total seat intake for the Aligarh Muslim University B.Ed course is 100. Candidates seeking admission to this course also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. For AMU B.Ed admission, candidates must have passed BA/BSc/BCom with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 

AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MA at some other college or university. For Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission, students are required to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50% in a Diploma in Engineering are also eligible for BTech admission at AMU. 

AMU admission 2023 to various courses is based on CUET as well various entrance exams. AMU releases the list of students who are qualified for the final admission on the official website in form of merit lists or firm lists. The AMU BSc in Biochemistry curriculum is designed in a way to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the chemical processes within living organisms. Spread over a duration of three years, which in total is six semesters. Each semester, students will get to learn certain core and Ability Enhancement Discipline Centric Courses. Some of the subjects included are Biomolecules, Microbiology & Virology, Enzymology, Biostatistics, etc.

STEP 1: Registration

Visit AMU's official website to register for counselling. The payment for admission may also be had to be paid on the same portal. 

STEP 2: Provisional Admission

After counselling, provisional admission shall be granted to the shortlisted candidates. 

STEP 3: Document Verification & Physical Reporting

After selection, candidates have to report physically at the university and submit a list of documents. Candidates must carry original documents.

AMU offers MSc as a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. To be eligible to pursue MSc at AMU, candidates must have scored at least 55% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MSc at some other college or university.
