When comparing just the tuition costs, NLSIU is noticeably more expensive than TNDALU. The cheaper hostel costs at TNDALU, however, somewhat make up for the disparity. Living costs are much more in Bangalore than they are in Chennai. Considering all of these variables, NLSIU's overall tuition for undergraduate programmes is probably more expensive than TNDALU's, however specific scholarship circumstances may differ. For postgraduate programmes, the difference in tuition fees between NLSIU and TNDALU is less, while the costs for housing are the same. Living costs are considerably greater in Bangalore than they are in Chennai, though. As a result, although the difference is somewhat smaller than for UG programmes, the overall cost of attending NLSIU for PG programmes is probably going to be somewhat more than TNDALU.
