It'll be a little difficult to say anything about VIT because last year around 4,720 students were offered admissions at VIT University, Vellore and Chennai. Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling. All major branches like CS EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in Chennai campus.

Both the colleges are very good for pursuing B.E in CSE. However, BITS Pilani certainly has an edge over DTU being the CSE course as the flagship course which is at par with the top IITs.
Hence, take your decision accordingly.

Hi Nimesh, Admissions are closed for this session, you can certainly try next year through BITSAT. BITS is very strict in the admissions procedures and is the only institutions which considers admissions only through merit. Therefore, the only way would be to try next year following all the guidelines according to the deadline dates. Best Wishes.

There is an exam called BITSAT. The cost of the form is nearly 2000 RS for general boys. The exam tests the basic knowledge so make sure you are really good ATIT. The exam is pretty hard to qualify, so you need to work hard. Give the examination and you'll get the admission if you qualify.
