Manufacturing Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani is really close to the course and curriculum of mechanical engineering at the same college.
Now, this gives the branch and added advantage that the students pursuing for the same branch get to set for companies looking for manufacturing engineers as well as those looking for mechanical engineers as well.
Ritesh, the average placement package for the year 2017 was around 6 lacs while the highest being 27 lacs.
Also, Bell Institute of Technology and Science is the top private college in India and is also almost equivalent to an Indian Institute of Technology and so it ensures you the best of the placements than any other college in India can provide you with.
With this, I would round up by saying, that if you really want to pursue manufacturing engineering then BITS Pilani is the right college for you to provide you with adequate academics and the best of the placements in India.
I hope this answer helps.
Cheers.
