Pilani is a very small town with limited facilities of hired accommodation outside the campus. Although, it's not compulsory to stay in the hostel at BITS Pilani it is preferable to stay in the hostel for the overall development of a student.

Although, it's not compulsory to stay in the hostel at BITS Pilani it is preferable to stay in the hostel for the overall development of a student. Only local students whose parents are employed in and around Pilani stay outside hostel.

The cutoff for mechanical engineering for BITS, Pilani is 346 and in BITS, Goa campus it is 322 for mechanical and 316 for Hyderabad.

Welingkar is the best option among these colleges and has a good brand value in India. PUMBA has a good ROI. Welingkar, Mumbai campus is an older one and preferred for management studies.

No, BITS exam is easier than IIT. IIT exam is tough that every year around 15 lakhs candidate appear for it. The number of participants is directly proportional to toughness of the exam.
