Dear Raju, I am not aware of the Automobile Engineering programme at Chitkara University, but being alumni of LPU, I can provide details of this programme at LPU with you. My friend did B.Tech in Auto engineering at LPU. LPU provides numerous opportunities in all the terms like Live projects and internships from companies that add experience in automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. I was completely flabbergasted by the designs of cars, robots, and new inventions done by them. Talking about recent placements, when it comes to Automobile Engineering 95% to 98% of our seniors have been placed in top-notch companies such as HERO MOTORCYCLES, HYUNDAI, ESCORTS, TAFE and many more. There are continuous efforts by faculty to contribute to the upliftment of student's careers. LPU provides adequate opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure a good placement. It is one of the most preferred careers by engineers. The job opportunity as an Automobile Engineers is increasing due to the rapid growth of auto components in the automobile sector. This industry is very diverse, intensely competitive & highly globalized. Many vehicle producers turn out hundreds of models, which change at regular intervals. Generally, an automotive engineer designs new machines and improves the performance of existing machines. An Automotive Engineer can work in national and multinational automobile companies, Defense services, Service stations, and Private transport companies. Dear Vaibhav, I am not aware of Apeejay Stya University, Chandigarh University, and Manav Rachna University but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of the CSE at LPU with you. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Hello there, I feel both the universities are good and [erpfroming well, but as far as I have seen and observed LPU is gaining a lot of apraisel and better placements records from the past few years. There're methods of teachings are innovative and most importantly their faculty members are highly qualified and most of them Ph.D. holder. Plus LPU is the university where all kind of rescoursdes are available foprt students they have high tech labs, all the necessary equipemnets, moroevrer The LPU School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is approved by the Pharmacy council of India. It has been ranked among the Top 30 Pharmacy colleges in India by NIRF. LPU has designed Pharmaceutical Sciences programs in such a way to impart in-depth knowledge and practical learning to bring out the best scholars. LPU also gives their students training and prepares the mfor placementsand they have their own hopiotal where students practice. LPU has alsosd endless tieups and MOUs and The school has also signed MOU with Shree Dhanwantri Herbals which is a leading ayurvedic pharmaceutical company in India. Hence students get lot of expsorue and help. And LPU has always been ahead of it's time. They provide lots of workshops, seminrass guest lectures, summer trains, intenraships where students get to learn and explore alot. Mathematics is not compulsory in Chandigarh University and LPU in 11th and 12th for admission in BCA. While the eligibility criteria of DAV Chandigarh is given below.
Eligibility : 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 50% of marks and passed 10th with Mathematics as one subject.
So Mathematics is also not compulsory here for admission in BCA Ist year. However 5% weightage will be given in admission to the candidates studied Mathematics or CS/IT at 10+2 level.
