Review of CU CSE 2027. Go for it.
Placements: Placements in our college are above average. Most big MNCs visit the campus, such as Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, Samsung, and Josh, among others. Most companies offer packages between 6–8 LPA, with mass hiring at 4.5 LPA. We can sit for placements from the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: We are provided with all facilities like AC classrooms with projectors and Wi-Fi. Labs have all the equipment and the latest software installed for good practical exposure. Hostel facilities are available. Hostels are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. The hostels are maintained regularly and have study rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive in the first year when you need them the most. Then you figure it out on your own. Teachers are there to guide and mentor. They focus more on practical knowledge than theory. Exams are not that hard, and the syllabus is covered before exams.

My review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: Approximately 50 percent of students get placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte. 10 percent of students get internships. A software development engineer role is offered. Many companies are coming for placement drives. Many students are placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in hostels are satisfactory. Food is also provided in good quality, and the mess is maintained with proper mopping and sanitation. The quality of food available in the mess is good. Wi-Fi is also provided in campus classes and in the library. Infrastructure is best. Well-maintained, and security is also very high.
Faculty: In CU, faculty members are very helpful and also behave like friends. Teaching qualities are very good. The course curriculum is also relevant, students get enough information to be industry-ready. The semester exam is not too difficult. 98% students passed.

Learn, empower, emphasise, and the best placement offers from MNCs. Good infrastructure, all set.
Placements: Almost all students were placed in the 2024 and 2025 batches with an average package of 11 LPA. Many SaaS and product-based companies came with their expectations, and all were accepted, although there is a lot of scope in the CSE branch with many specialisations like AIML, this, and CY.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is good, and most students choose the hostel for their living because of the quality of food and living standards. The hostel provides food four times a day to students, and both full AC rooms and non-AC rooms are available. The food and water quality are the best.
Faculty: The academic curriculum is excellent at this institution. We are provided with AC classrooms and all high-tech learning technology because we are engineering students, training with industry-level problems. Exams are really high-level to boost our confidence.
Other: Many extracurricular activities are also held on our campus, like Teach Fest, CU Fest, Tasion Nights, and many small concerts, as well as other international and cultural programs.

My college experience in a few words.
Placements: As I am in 3rd semester, I don't know much about real-time placement data, but I can make some points based on my experience, views, and what I have seen. Top companies like IBM, Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and more visit our college. The role and the amount of the package are all dependent on the company. The highest package is 54 LPA, the average is around 10, and the lowest is never disclosed. Students also get internships in these companies, plus additional companies offer internships separately, and the stipend is totally dependent on the student and the company.
Infrastructure: I have not opted for the hostel facility, but according to students living there, there are 4 and 5-seater rooms. The food is not very good. They serve one type of food with different names. About the infrastructure, we have huge, clean libraries, computer labs, and classrooms equipped with whiteboards and projectors. We can access free Wi-Fi anytime we want.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, not just in class but also after their class times. They have good knowledge about their subject and teach very well, except for some. The course curriculum is so well designed according to future industry needs and is easy to understand for every student. Semester exams are neither very easy nor very difficult. They are well designed according to students' understanding ability.
Other: There are various kinds of events happening almost every day, like hackathons, workshops, events, and many more. Students can participate in any of these and can get a chance to explore and connect with other people. As the crowd is very large, we can connect with anyone we want. We can find every kind of person inside the college. We can also participate in any sports or other extracurricular activities. The campus infrastructure is very huge, quiet, and peaceful. To join the college, there are scholarship opportunities of up to 100%.

Satisfied with the teaching faculty infrastructure and hostels, but the food could be improved.
Placements: The average number of students is placed every year, and the most important factor is the knowledge and skills the student has. The highest package had gone to 1-2cr, and the average package is about 4-6 LPA, and the roles for which top companies came are mostly software engineer and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: Personally, I like my hostel and my department block. We have ACs in our rooms as well as in our classrooms with Wi-Fi facility, and the library in our block is very huge and very spacious. What I don't like is the food, which I am most dissatisfied with, but we can eat from outside, which is very delicious.
Faculty: Talking about teachers, they are very helpful with professional development and personal issues. The course curriculum is also relevant, as we learn many technologies every semester. The bad thing is that the exams don't have any pattern. They give very random questions, which are just set by the computer.

I agree with good infrastructure, but the course curriculum is not good and changes could be made.
Placements: About 30-40% of students are placed, even less than that. The highest package is around 1 crore, and the lowest is around 2-3 LPA. Many companies come, such as Adobe, PayPal, TCS, etc. There are many students, and the number of opportunities is very limited. In a recent case, out of 1500 students who sat for the Adobe drive, only 2 of them got selected. They come for different roles: data analyst, software engineer (mainly).
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in the course and department are good. One thing that is not good is the old lab. Some have been changed now, but some are old, where some PCs do not even work. The new labs are very good and built nicely. Hostels are not up to the mark. Initially, they will show you their best rooms and some different hostels, and then, at last, will allot you something else. We don't have ACs, and coolers barely work. We do have a cafeteria, snack shops, and many other shops from where we can get food.
Faculty: This is the part which I don't like. Just think, you are studying CSE and you have subjects like Biology, which are mandatory but not grade courses. We already have many deadlines to deal with, and they are adding more and more, which are not even matching the skills we should have. Teachers are good and helpful, but only if you are also a bit cooperative. Semester exams are not that difficult to pass.
