I did my MBA in Finance and International Business from LPU so I can share the details of an MBA programme at LPU instead of CU.
Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things-

Placement: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. The maximum package available for the management programme is 21 LPA.

It is always troublesome to compare two colleges or institutions. This is so because there are many dynamic issues and it's always the case that one institution is good in some while the other is good in others. Also, different observers can conclude differently based on the same data. In such situations, a student will get more confused than clarified. Though both the universities are good in academics but being an alumni of LPU let me share the details. Well, LPU is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU Design Discipline offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry, Interior and Furniture and Animation and Multimedia. LPU School of Design II covers two domains; Department of Interior - Furniture design & Department of Product - Industrial Design. Being one of the finest colleges in India, it offers courses which focus on enhancing students' design thinking capabilities and widen the scope of design solutions to various design processes. Of course! Both the above institutes are fair enough! But I would like to share some insights about LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Dear Raju, I am not aware of the Automobile Engineering programme at Chitkara University, but being alumni of LPU, I can provide details of this programme at LPU with you. My friend did B.Tech in Auto engineering at LPU. LPU provides numerous opportunities in all the terms like Live projects and internships from companies that add experience in automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. I was completely flabbergasted by the designs of cars, robots, and new inventions done by them. Plus LPU is the university where all kind of rescoursdes are available foprt students they have high tech labs, all the necessary equipemnets, moroevrer The LPU School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is approved by the Pharmacy council of India. It has been ranked among the Top 30 Pharmacy colleges in India by NIRF. LPU has designed Pharmaceutical Sciences programs in such a way to impart in-depth knowledge and practical learning to bring out the best scholars. LPU also gives their students training and prepares the mfor placementsand they have their own hopiotal where students practice. LPU has alsosd endless tieups and MOUs and The school has also signed MOU with Shree Dhanwantri Herbals which is a leading ayurvedic pharmaceutical company in India. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Mathematics is not compulsory in Chandigarh University and LPU in 11th and 12th for admission in BCA. While the eligibility criteria of DAV Chandigarh is given below.
Eligibility : 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 50% of marks and passed 10th with Mathematics as one subject.
So Mathematics is also not compulsory here for admission in BCA Ist year. However 5% weightage will be given in admission to the candidates studied Mathematics or CS/IT at 10+2 level.
