On comparing with Chandigarh University, GEU University is too small in terms of students, campus environment. The academic achievements too are good in CU than GEU.

Hello Shruti,
After completing M.Tech (mechatronics), you can find opportunities primarily in electronics industry. You can also work in fields like automobile, manufacturing, gas and oil, mining, transport, defence, robotics, aerospace and aviation.
You may find opportunities in the Army, the Navy and the Air force and organisations like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). DRDO, Delhi, offers challenging opportunities for candidates with first-class degrees in mechatronics engineering.
so you may go through Chandigarh University as it is really good and you have to do M.Tech also so you get job.
All the best!!

Yes, of course, the future itself lies within aerospace. In the next decade aerospace would become the largest sector.
So, it is preferably better than other courses only if you are willing to study hard & accept challenges.

Hello Nakul,
Chandigarh University is a private university and affiliated to UGC (University Grants Commission), as a full-fledged university and degree is provided by CU.
It has a strict administration and all the facilities related to study, but the university lacks experienced faculties in almost every department. Professors teach only pre-assigned topics, and no one tells any extra thing related to the particular subject which make the lectures less interesting.
The only thing that matters here a lot is 'ATTENDANCE' (Sometimes I feel that I go to college only for attendance). Nevertheless, things I like a lot about this university are 'guest lectures', 'seminars' and different types of competitions organized by different departments regularly by which you can showcase your talents.
If you take it positively, this university is a mixed bag of fun and study. It proves it's tagline, it is growing very fast.
