The vertical reservation for the academic year 2025-2026 will be as under: - OBC - 14% - Scheduled Caste - 19% - Scheduled Tribes - 04%Other State candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories will be treated at par with the unreserved candidates of Uttarakhand for admission. Horizontal reservations are also applicable for Undergraduate programmes only in these categories: - Children of retired/killed or disabled Defence Personnel of Uttarakhand 5 %- Children of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand 2 %- Physically Handicapped of Uttarakhand having disability 40% or above 4 %- Female Candidates of Uttarakhand 30 %- Uttarakhand Orphan Child 5 %

Note: Candidates other than bonafide residents of Uttarakhand are not eligible to fill up application form for admission to the Undergraduate and Masters' Degree programmes in the University.
