GBPUAT Seats 2025
The seat intake varies course-wise at GBPUAT. Candidates need to qualify entrance exam or merit in the last qualifying exam to get a seat in the university. The seats are distributed between UA Domicile and payment seats. All the sanctioned seats in Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes (except MCA) shall be allotted to bonafide residents of Uttarakhand State only. STEP 1: GBPUAT Application Process 2025
The mode of application is online. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the preferred course. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,200 (INR 600 for SC/ ST/ PH). Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.
STEP 2: Selection

All courses in GBPUAT use an online mode of application. These applications often start in April in the university. To be admitted, aspirants must pay INR 1,200 (INR 600, SC/ ST/ PH) as an application fee. The process to apply to GBPUAT is as follows:

PhD Scholarship
Two fellowships in each discipline are to be awarded at INR 6,000 per month based on merit to the eligible students admitted in the discipline for 36 months.
Master's Programmes
Master's degree (except self-financing programmes) students up to 50% of the total in respect of each Major are awarded Graduate Research/ Teaching Assistantship as per regulation on the subject. However, the value of the assistantship will be of INR 3,000 per month for the student who stands first in the merit and for the rest the value of the assistantship shall be INR 2,000 per month in each degree programme.

PhD students at GBPUAT are open to fellowship. Two fellowships in each discipline are to be awarded at INR 6,000 per month based on merit to the eligible students admitted in the discipline for 36 months. If the total number of fellowships thus provided are not utilised due to any valid reasons whatsoever, the university shall be free to redistribute the allocation of the vacant fellowship position and award the same to other students who could not be granted fellowship in the first instance due to the
aforesaid restriction of two fellowships in each discipline.
The BSc Agriculture (Hons) course duration is for four-years which is divided into 8 semesters. The final year of the course deals with Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) and Experiential Learning Programme (ELP). The course is delivered in full-time mode.

The total number of seat available for the students to take admission in the GBPUAT BSc (Hons) Community Science are 80. Majority of the seats are reserved for the students with domicile of Uttarakhand. Few seats are given to the students who belong to other states.
